It used to be much easier to generate graphs like this (through some 3rd part apps or the Facebook API) but Facebook is getting increasingly strict about what data can be accessed through the API. Part II and Part III are the more exciting parts where we will run some analyses on the network. There are three parts: Part I is about retrieving the friend data we need for building the network.
